It was 7 in the morning and i woke up to utter chaos in my house. Reason- my bro had a external practical exam today and every political party supported the bandh called by different OBC organizations. Though my dad explained him that the exam would be postponed he wouldnt listen. Made so many calls to his lecs and friends that my dad got mad at him. But then who would want to miss a external semester practical ? i pity my bro on this.
I woke up, brushed and washed my face. Then with a coffee in hand took a look at Deccan Chronicle (no i am not promoting any newspaper here ;) ) and saw the headlines. Congress, TDP, TRS and every little known political party supported a bandh just to beg for a % of reservation. "ROUGES and RASCALS" i thought for a moment. First of all i find this very idea of bandh 'FUNNY'. Is it just me, or everyone finds this funny?
I thought of going to a cd store nearby and grab a copy of sivaji and damn! the shops were closed too :( . Finally a dull day, spent time reading the Vinci code and then watching chapell resign. I seriously support bandhs if they are called between 8 in the night to 6 in the morning. Optimistic, am I ? :D
