Its been 4 months in America and I must say, life was not as easy as I thought. The 10 best things I learnt.
10. Not all airlines are good and the ones in INDIA are much better.. yeah! even AIR DECCAN !!
9. You sleep at 4 in the morning and get up at 12 in the afternoon. If you sleep early and get up early then you are considered wierd.
8. All fast food joints don't serve vegetarian food. The vegetarian food you get in any of those food outlets is either a bean substitute or just 'cheese'
7. 'Pepperoni' does not have pepper, instead its a combo of beef and pork.
6. All the people from Hyderabad speak only in telugu, atleast those in campus. If you try to speak in english with any of them, then you are style 'marofying'.
5. Homeworks and assignments needs to be shared and written with all the cooperation you can get.
4. Birthdays are celebrated to kick people's ass off.
3. 90% of the girls coming from India are 'committed'.
2. Girls first seem friendly and you try to do whatever you can do for them, then you learn your lessons the hard way.
1. There is always a consultancy after you graduate to get you a job.

Just another day !
It was just another day. Just another one. But why did the sky look so blue? And why did I feel so good? Perhaps the space around you knows more than you do. It is full of awareness, of knowledge of that which is unknown to you. Perhaps!
I made my way through the crowded road. Faces and more faces. Beautiful and not so beautiful perhaps. But who was I to decide that after all? I was too a face in the crowd. Signal turned red and I had to stop. And then I saw her. No it wasn’t love at first sight. That’s what people call it don’t they? It wasn’t that definitely. It was just an extension to something that had never started and something that would never end. It was a continuation. This wasn’t the first sight. I was sure of it somehow. I had never been so sure of anything in my whole life.
She stood there amongst the crowd deeply engrossed in thought! But I am sure she felt it too. Without looking at me. Without hearing me. Without a sound. Just in the minutest second of a second she felt it too. I knew it and she knew that I knew it.
We met and we said nothing. There was nothing to be said. We both knew what there was to be said. This was not the first time. I looked at the sky.
The environment suddenly turned noisy, I was out from the bliss and my friend shouting at me to turn the iginition on. I could not turn my eyes out from that ADVERTISEMENT HOLDING where the beautiful lady was looking straight into my eyes. It was all virtual, sometimes that is life ! Live it, enjoy it !

Steven Gerrard - one man show?
I was always proud to be a liverpool fan ! though lot of my friends support Manchester United/ AC milan ... I have always been loyal to Liverpool FC. My liking towards Liverpool FC was probably of this mid fielder - No.8 Steven Gerrard. If you are still wondering what I am talking about, you probably have to check out this video.
Bihar police book 8-month-old for rioting
This is one of the most hilarious news articles i have ever come across. This news was reported on ibnlive.com, this is how the police fool around chargesheeting kids for riot and letting the guilty go around like kings.
An eight-month-old baby in Bihar, Subash Pandey, has been accused of rioting and disrupting law and order.
But Subash wasn’t alone in the alleged crime. His relatives, 10-year-old Utpal and six year-old Ujwal are co-accused.
The Bihar police has already lodged a case against the three of them and forwarded the matter to court.
“They aimed a revolver at us and beat us up. We went to the police, only to be driven away. Then we were charged under Section 107,” says Subash’s father, Santosh Pandey.
The children were booked for rioting with neighbours. The fact that the minors were booked came to light when they were taken to the SDM court for obtaining bail.
“There is a case with us with the children’s names. We realised they are too young to create trouble. We are getting their names removed from the case,” says SDM, Ashok Kumar Singh.
However, now the police are finding it hard to defend its action.
“It was a misunderstanding. We are removing their names,” says sub-Inspector Tez Narayan Mandal.
This is the fourth incident of its kind in Bihar. Earlier a three-year-old child in Katihar was charged with rioting. Similar incidents were also reported from Maner in Patna district and from Muzzafarpur district.

10 Things i learned joining a engineering college
Its been 4 years of studying engineering now and i am about graduate in a week's time(hopefully). Engineering has been very harsh in the beginning ( lot of backlogs in the first 2 sems) and it got kind towards the end(last semester scored more than 70% :D ). Studying engineering has taught me many things.
1. Not all guyz are intelligent and not all girls are beautiful.
2. Friday mornings are reserved for watching movies and monday is a holiday to take rest after a hectic weekend.
3. Studying 1 night before the exam is considered cool and doing the same 1 or 2 weeks before, you are considered a nerd.
4. Internals are conducted to test the class unity ( i have never seen such unity before in my life)
5. The bus rides to the college in the morning makes you feel like you have been attending college regularly and the evening ride makes you think you have studied too much. :P
6. Industrial trips are always meant to enjoy (if you have a girl then these trips are even more interesting) and there is more sight-seeing than learning about industries.
7. College canteen always serve bad food and you learn to appreciate it incourse of time.
8. You find other college chics interesting and wished you studied in that college.
9. The professors/lecturers never learn to speak english and you feel like giving spoken english lessons to them.
10. Rules are always meant to be broken, be it on the dress code or using mobile phones in the campus.
